When it comes to the antiques that I buy, I’m of the opinion that one of something is great, but a collection is better. Over the years, I have become obsessed with different things - alarm clocks, school bells, jello molds - and I always find myself subconsciously searching for those items in any store that I visit, never feeling satisfied until I have at least three of something. If you are also a collector, the Antique Station in St. Georges is a great place to get something started. For less than $100, you can easily find a wide variety of items to add to your home. From rug beaters, to cookie jars, to German beer steins, you will find it here.
Oh, and then there’s the trains.
The Antique Station, which has been open for ten years, is home to the largest train collection in Delaware. They buy and sell trains, so if you find yourself with an inherited train collection that you don’t want, you can’t find a better place to unload them. Speaking from experience, John is super friendly, easy to work with, and is truly an expert when it comes to antique trains. His pricing is fair, making the sale of our collection of trains simple and straightforward.
Hit it if you’re a train enthusiast or like to browse through the type of store where every room features a different style of antiques. Also, if you’re into primitive decor, you will find a lot of that here.
